It's happened to all of us designers. We are the third person to work on a project, and for some reason or another, the files on a brochure, etc. are not available. But, we still have to match that font. Now, maybe you are more gifted/attentive than I, but I can only identify about 30 typefaces by sight. So, what to do about those other 3 billion typefaces? Let identifont do it for you. They even have the font ready to purchase, after you have figured out which one it is.
